Torin started racing in 2010 at age 5. He started on a small Go Kart track on a CRF50. He loved it from the start. The more he practiced the more he learned and improved. After winning the Youth 6-9 National Championship he moved up to an NSR50 and a KTM SX65. At age 11 he won 7 National Championships and was awarded the White Memorial trophy. Torin was keen to take his racing to elsewhere.
Torin who is a dual citizen of Canada and the United Kingdom registered for the British Talent Cup in 2018 and was accepted to try out but was not one of the 25 riders selected. Torin though determined to make it in to the Talent Cup wanted to get experience on a high speed motorcycle. Torin and his father would drive 21 hours to race at Chuckwalla Valley Raceway in California. There Torin raced his Yamaha R3 and his Moriwaki MD250H against many great young USA racing talents. There he learnt race craft and exchange lap records and race wins with Rocco Landers. The following year Torin applied for the British Talent Cup again and got accepted to the tryouts. With more Talent and Experience Torin was a top talent at the tryouts. He was accepted and competed a season in the British Talent Cup where he was a consistent top rookie whilst being new to every single circuit.
In 2020 Torin signed with Team MTA where he competed in the European Talent Cup. Again it was learning 5 new MotoGP caliber tracks, The competition was higher than any championship Torin had ever entered. For Torin's rookie year his goal was to learn the track and the competition and try to improve his lap times and riding. He did just that. Now Torin has renewed his contract in 2021 to race another year with team MTA competing in the European Talent Cup where he is going to hopefully show his potential in the European stage.
For two seasons, Torin raced against the best Junior riders in the world. Working hard with the AGR Race Team, Torin was able to learn, battle, struggle and succeed in his 2 season aboard a Moto3 machine. The experience and knowledge he gained from the JuniorGP World Championship, he will take withroughout his career.
2024 holds a new challenge. Torin will join Altus Motorsports on a GSXR-750 in the MotoAmerica Supersport Championship.
With a whole lot of new tracks, new bike and a new championship Torin will have lots to learn and lots of hurdles to overcome in 2024.
